CARNEGIE HALL PERFORMER:
Theodore began playing piano about one (YES, ONE) year ago and demonstrated such natural talent and joy for playing that he has already been selected as second-place winner of the 2017 American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition, Young Musicians Category. Theo has been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City this summer at the winners’ recital of the event. Theodore attends 2nd Grade at Emerson School (and previously HeadsUp! Child Development Center). Check out Theo’s YouTube entry to see his winning musical performance.
Thorben Gross-Perez is a longtime student at Hacienda School (and previously, Hacienda Child Development Center). We’ve observed Thorben develop his athletic skills over the years, most notably in soccer and we are so pleased to see his passion and talent for the sport recognized. Congratulations on being selected for the US Development Academy, Thorben!
SUPER FAMILY KEEPING FIT:
Check out our HeadsUp! and Emerson School SUPER students, Natalia, Emma and Joaquin as they keep active with their dad at the 34th Mission 10 Race in San Juan Bautista last month. The race, featuring a Half Marathon, 10-mile, 5K race and a 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, helps raise money for the Rotary Club of Hollister. We love the SUPER spirit shown by this family!
Emerson students, Stephanie and Gabby enjoy their yearly excursions exploring German culture and the great outdoors at Camp Richardson’s Oktoberfest in Lake Tahoe. What a fun surprise it was to find their faces gracing a slideshow advertisement for this annual event.
